Dental Coding Workshop Description
This workshop will educate attendees about dental coding relevant to a periodontal practice. Content is intended for staff new to coding and/or reimbursement for periodontal procedures. This course will identify the typical procedure codes submitted in conjunction with treatment provided by the periodontist. Participants will receive a handout of information to be covered in the presentation.
Educational Objectives
At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:
- Apply American Dental Association CDT codes properly for dental insurance submission
- Identify what procedure codes need documentation and attachments when submitting claims
- Review through designated Q&A session
The American Academy of Periodontology designates this activity for 2.75 continuing education credits.

Dental Coding Workshop Schedule
- Morning session: 10 – 11:20 a.m. CT
- Break: 11:20 a.m. – 11:40 a.m. CT
- Afternoon session: 11:40 a.m. – 1 p.m. CT
Location
All workshops will be held live via Zoom on the scheduled day. All times are Central Time. All participants will receive a Zoom link approximately 24 hours before the workshop.
Registration Fees
- $449 per session
- $799 for combined courses. Save when you register for both sessions!
- Registration deadline is one week before each dental workshop
- Participants are asked to submit any questions in advance of the meeting

Insurance Workshop Registration Refund Policy
Refunds will be granted to registrants who submit written refund requests by two weeks prior to the dates of the workshop less the $50 administrative fee based on handling costs. Allow at least 7-14 business days for your refund to be processed once approved. Requests for refunds received after that time will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.
