e-Learning Center

Welcome to the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) e-Learning Center.

AAP members can earn continuing education (CE) credits through the AAP e-Learning Center. The e-Learning Center includes a library of online continuing education courses with quizzes, automated grading, and secure credit card payment - all available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The AAP e-Learning Center brings educational opportunities right into the office or home enabling participants to learn at their own pace, on their own time, and at their convenience. Registrants have access to the course content through the stated expiration date. Note: Please know certain content may be complimentary for members only for a promotional period of time.

The American Academy of Periodontology is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry. Concerns or complaints about a CE provider may be directed to the provider or to the Commission for Continuing Education Provider Recognition at ADA.org/CERP. 

Earning CE Credit

To receive a CE certificate for your completion of an online, on-demand CE program, you must:

  • View the entire recording 
  • Complete the final quiz 
  • Submit the evaluation survey 

Once these steps are completed, the CE certificate will be automatically available in My CE.

Please note: These records will not automatically be submitted to any state board. It is your responsibility to submit earned course content hours to the appropriate regulatory agency.

Fees

Pricing is provided within the course pages throughout. Each course within the AAP online continuing education program offers continuing dental education credit and you'll have the convenience of earning CE credit at the time that fits your schedule.

No refunds or exchanges will be provided for online program orders.
